Paged, one of the five largest plywood manufacturers in Europe, will be showcasing its innovative solutions at Interzum 2023 in Cologne. From 9-12 May, there will be an opportunity to see the company’s extensive product range as it develops the latest technologies in its own Paged LabTech Research and Development Center.
The International Trade Fair for Furniture and Interior Design Suppliers Interzum 2023 in Cologne, which will take place from 9 to 12 May 2023, is an opportunity to get to know the range of products offered by 1,500 international exhibitors. Among them, Paged’s products stand out not only for their high durability, but also for their suitability for even the most technically demanding construction or arrangement projects. The manufacturer takes care of the high mechanical parameters of plywood, and at the same time uses the most environmentally-friendly solutions.
Natural, wooden plywood is a versatile material with aesthetic and functional qualities. Like the wood from which it is made, it is one of the most environmentally friendly materials used in construction, industrial (furniture) production, transport or interior design. It can be bent and profiled relatively easily and can be used as a structural element for outdoor projects due to its resistance to weather changes.
– Plywood is not only suitable for furniture production and interior finishing. It is also widely used in the transport industry to make walls and floors of buses, trailers and semi-trailers. Thanks to its water resistance, plywood is also used to build furniture bulkheads on yachts. Applications of plywood are extremely diverse – explains Jarosław Wasiuk, Director of Export Sales in Paged Plywood. – During the fair in Cologne at our stand you will be able not only to see our products in many innovative versions, but also talk about their versatile applications with our industry experts – he adds.
The source of innovation and the base of the high quality of Paged plywood is its own research and development centre – Paged LabTech. In its state-of-the-art laboratory, located in Pisz, the company develops, tests and implements new products, such as Paged GreenPly plywood, which contains natural glue based solely on biobased raw materials. Thanks to the Paged LabTech R&D Center, Paged can bring in modern, future-oriented solutions in the production of its materials faster. The opening of the new laboratory premises, which was co-financed with European funds, will take place as early as mid-June this year.
At the Paged stand at Interzum, Paged Meble will also be present with its range of moulded plywood. We manufacture spatially complex moulded plywood elements for many customers around the world based on their design or our design book. Due to their considerable strength with relatively low weight and natural wood grain, moulded plywood is used by, among others, manufacturers of school furniture, upholstered furniture or in the transport industry, especially in the production of public rolling stock like trams, trains, buses, etc.
