Paged DryGuard FR Plywood

A New Standard in Fire and Weather Protection.

Characteristics of Paged DryGuard FR Plywood

Plywood Paged DryGuard FR is an innovative structural plywood that combines advanced protection against moisture and fire. Thanks to unique technology, this product meets the highest safety standards, making it ideal for demanding construction conditions.

Features and Advantages of Paged DryGuard FR Plywood

Paged DryGuard FR Plywood offers a range of features that bring numerous benefits to users:

  • Water Resistance: The plywood has a hydrophobic coating that minimizes moisture absorption (PN-EN 927-5). It does not require additional rain protection, which lowers costs and speeds up project implementation.
  • Fire Resistance: It has the highest fire reaction class for wood – B-s1, d0 (EN 13501-1), ensuring safety in public and commercial spaces.
  • Mould Protection: The coating effectively protects against fungal growth, supporting healthy usage conditions (PN-EN 927-3).
  • UV Protection: The coating provides enhanced UV protection. As a result, surface cracking is minimized compared to untreated plywood. Additionally, the distinctive red color of DryGuard FR does not fade, reducing the risk of confusion when using multiple plywood types on a construction site.
  • Lightweight and Durable: Made from pine wood, Paged DryGuard FR is exceptionally lightweight, facilitating installation while providing high structural strength.
  • Ease of Design: The new plywood has undergone specialized strength and rigidity tests for roof and floor sheathing at the Łukasiewicz Research Network — Wood Technology Institute, confirming its suitability for structural applications.
  • Certificate of Performance Consistency: The product has been certified by an independent notified body (AVCP 1 system of assessment and verification of constancy of performance).
  • Eco-Friendly: The plywood is made from certified wood sourced from sustainable forests in the Baltic Sea region (FSC, PEFC). Its low formaldehyde and VOC emissions make it environmentally friendly. It has a Type III Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).
  • Vapour Permeability: The plywood has low diffusion resistance, allowing water vapour to pass through.

Processing of Paged DryGuard FR Plywood

  • Tongue and Groove (T&G) Joint: Allows panels to be laid in a uniform surface, eliminating the “clattering” effect and increasing structural stability.
  • CNC Machining: Enables precise customization of formats and shapes according to project requirements, significantly facilitating installation.
